A charming whimsical version of an Australian bilby with large ears sits among colorful Easter eggs, surrounded by delicate flowers and soft petals, exuding a festive and joyful atmosphere. In Australia, introduced rabbits have destroyed the habitat of native animals, and so we try to replace some of the attention on (to us) feral rabbits, by replacing some of the chocolate bunnies with our own home grown Easter Bilby. This is a super cute and fluffly native animal with a cute pointy nose, and long ears like a rabbit. Sales raise money for conservation of the bilby. Popularity waxes and wanes, but currently Darrel Lea, an Australian chocolate and sweets company, has begun making and selling Easter Bilbies again, after a break of about five years.
