More about Provideo's ability to ignore clear instructions is quite impressive tech

Though incredibly annoying. The only thing missing is a voice saying, "I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that." All I got to say to that is "and don't call me Shirley."

Gorgeous clip, very smooth, quite realistic looking. Just a bit problematic because ProVideo entirely ignored the clear instructions at the very beginning:

"She turns away from the camera to walk away from the camera through the doorway she’s standing in and into the bedroom behind her."

However you interpret that, she never turned, didn't walk away from the camera but toward it, never went thru the doorway, and never entered the bedroom behind her. Just utterly ignored that entire instruction so far as I can see. Hmmn. Maybe the full description of the room confused the issue, I dunno, it certainly responded to those details.

And, of course, she sits on a vanity stool I'd not even mentioned in the room description, not on the bed as instructed, though that is a detail I could live with. Only thing I can figure is that despite describing the room behind her in the video preceding this as a bedroom, and thinking that's a bed visible behind her, the AI decided from the last frame being used as the starting image here that room is something else and that is not, in fact, a bed. It COULD I suppose be interpreted as some sort of couch, and what I see as a pillow as either a throw pillow or the edge of a cushion. Sure looked like a bed in the preceding clip as she walked to that door, but, alas, what you can see of it in the starting image from the last frame is less conclusive. I'd think my referencing it as a bedroom and calling that a bed should have some influence on what gets generated, but I've become firmly convinced the model has very little interest in anything the user has to say.

Or... there is some obscure reason buried deep in the model which makes the AI determined that she must never leave this room. Though I have failed clips where she DID, so that's probably not the issue. Either way, the curse of the starting room continues... <sigh>

I would just continue on from the end of this, but I see another potential continuity problem rearing its ugly head again. The way the skirt is draped in the last frame is obscuring the piping again, and I suspect it may disappear going forward. I already know it's a struggle to get back if it does. May be worth tinkering with analyzing my current starting image a bit to see what AI sees in the image, if indeed I can get it to even mention that piece of furniture peeping out from behind her. Or just ignore what it is, and concentrate on getting her to walk through the door. I'll decide when I get enough compute energy to try something else.
