This is based on photo of a sculpture I did a while back, made from Worbla thermoplastic with some plastic eyes I bought. I'm not sure why I called him 'Frank', but the name stuck.

I'm very pleasantly surprised how well Runway was able to interpret the forms and maintain them (aside from some slight weirdness with the eyes) throughout the video! Just a pity it doesn't loop. Anyway, I'm very impressed!

Also, I just remembered why I made the sculpture, and it was as an unnecessarily complex and ornate stand for some stereo-viewer glasses I'd made! It seems like a lot of effort to go to, just for that, but it's worth using any excuse to do something creative, because it gives purpose and often provides constraints or problems that need solving, which in turn act as useful creative exercises and push you in unusual directions which you might not have otherwise explored.
