Easter Whispers in Vernal Light
—Poetry—
Upon a bed of green, the tulips rise,
In glassy grace they stretch toward tender day,
While painted eggs beneath with quiet sighs
Hold stories that the season longs to say.
Soft hues converse in watercolor breath,
Their murmurs steeped in spring’s awakening.
The stillness holds the echoing of death—
Transformed to bloom, to color, to soft wing.
No clamor here, no march of grand parade,
Just whispered faith in light's returning kiss.
The pastel shell, the petal's curve, all fade—
Yet in that fading lies eternal bliss.
This quiet world, arranged by thoughtful hand,
Reminds the soul how gently life can stand.
