"See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" is the Japanese proverb associated with three wise monkeys. While these three seem a little confused, they want to be urging avoidance of evil thoughts and deeds, avoiding gossip, and maintaining peace and harmony. The order of the monkeys can vary, in this case (from my base photo), "hear no evil, see no evil, and speak no evil". Good job #3. #1, you're close.
