As boys grow, they are faced with a daunting task: learning how to become a man. Unfortunately, society often teaches boys the wrong way. They are told that they must be tough, emotionless, and dominant. They are told that they must never show weakness or vulnerability. These messages can be harmful and lead to a distorted view of what it means to be a man.

But there is hope. Jesus provides a different model for manhood. He was strong, but he also showed compassion and vulnerability. He was a leader, but he also served others. He was confident, but he also relied on his Father in heaven.

If we want to become real men, we must follow Jesus' example. We must learn to be strong and compassionate, leaders and servants, confident and reliant on God. We must reject the harmful messages that society teaches us and instead look to Jesus as our guide.

It can be scary to try to become a man in today's world. But with Jesus by our side, we can have the strength and guidance we need to become the men that God created us to be. Let us turn to him and trust in his perfect example.
