I would sooner run from myself, would you ask that of me? Running from myself?

My choice is to never disappoint 1, no sour love. This love's a connection for all time.
You may leave me where you like. Break my heart, no stranger to lovelorn path.

I will never resent this love, I am not built that way. There isn't another to take your place.
I am no joke. Haunt me, leave me stranded I also think this is romantic. As a pair we are.

Mistakes made everyday. Sometimes I think I only learn the hard way. Does this define us?
Karma is a reflection coming to reality. How do you keep your path? While others will fade.

Life is about the recovery, rising after falls. How you're able maneuver through missteps?
I reflect thoughts etched upon my soul. A duck? Kiss fate goodbye? It doesn't work like that.

Is it supposed to be easy? I would hope not. The best things in life are always hard fought.

No holding out, I don't blindly wish. I only know deep down some are meant to be family.
